A flawless scene was shot while breaths were tightly held in the casting crew’s throats.

I wish life were similar, I suddenly thought.

Imagine realising a mistake and running back in time to correct it.

No blunders and mishaps

An immaculate scene shot and knowingly you stop acting when you hear, That’s a wrap

Imagine if life had a behind-the-scenes

A backstage where mistakes could be made knowing either way you would realise your dreams.

Bloopers that can be watched with no future consequence

While on set, you shine with your pretentious confidence

A behind the scenes you proudly boast of as experience

That’s a wrap, said the director to stop the show

Then, reality kicks in and you’re on your way out the door but with understanding

Grasping that errors, blunders and mishaps should be appreciated.

Comprehending that a behind the scenes with a picture-perfect shot is overrated
