Jubilation
You smirk, Spacio, like a feather
Floating up Frederick Chiluba Road
The driver’s arm becomes a wing
Your radio cackles kalindula
Passengers cram carcasses
Purchased at PHI Mall in plastic
Palms had prayed in the parking lot
Your heart had been empty yet you ate—
Glee’s fragrance lingers after lunch
Fried bones will fly and roost
At the roundabout when a hand
Hurls the parcel out of your head.
